What would a movie in space look like? Are you children curious to know how a film can be shot in space? We may find out sooner than we think.

Russia plans to be the first country to make a movie in space. This movie is named “Vyzov” (meaning “The Challenge”). It will be shot in the International Space Station (ISS) in October 2021.

The main star of the film will be 35-year-old Russian actress Yulia Peresild. She has been part of many Russian films and TV series. The director will be 37-year-old Klim Shipenko. Both Yulia and Klim are famous in Russia. They were selected through a competition by Roscosmos last November. Over the next few months, they will train hard to become fit to travel to the ISS.

What is the story of this new movie in space?

The movie will tell the story of a surgeon (doctor). This doctor will have to operate on a sick cosmonaut in space because he is too sick to return to Earth for treatment.

This film is being made in partnership with Roscosmos (Russia’s space agency).

However, it is not only Russia that is planning to make a film in space. A US team including actor Tom Cruise are also planning to make one.
