Grammy Awards 2023: Beyoncé makes history!

At the Grammy awards ceremony held this year in Los Angeles, Beyoncé took home a record-breaking 32nd Grammy Award. Harry Styles took home the award for album of the year.

Beyoncé’s album Renaissance received the award for best dance/electronic album. She became the first person to win more Grammy Awards than the Hungarian-British conductor George Solti.

George’s record of 31 Grammys had stood for more than 20 years.

  • Other big winners this year include Lizzo – About Damn Time (Record of the year), Bonnie Raitt – Just Like That (Song of the year) and Samara Joy (Best new artist).
  • Ricky Kej, a musician from India, took home his third Grammy Award this year.
  • Ricky split the award for “Best Immersive Audio Album” for “Divine Tides.”
