Howdy, knowledge enthusiast! Get ready to hear some super-duper exciting news! drumroll Jyothi Surekha Vennam and her partner Abhishek Verma just rocked the archery world and snatched a shiny gold medal at the 21st Asian Archery Championship. Can you believe it?

Archery Domination: Indian Champs Strike Gold!

  • Guess who they beat? The archery champs from Chinese Taipei, Yi-Hsuan Chen and Chieh-Luh Chen, stood no chance against our amazing Indian duo. Jyothi and Abhishek showed off their incredible skills and won by a whopping score of 158-151. Talk about epic archery power!
  • But wait, there’s more! We have not one, but TWO more gold medal winners from India. Deepika Kumari totally rocked the women’s recurve event and claimed the gold medal. Woohoo! And let’s not forget Ankita Bhakat, who snatched the silver medal. These ladies are unstoppable!
  • Now here’s something really special. With their outstanding performances, our Indian archers have secured a spot in the Olympics! That’s right, they have earned an Olympic quota for their mind-blowing skills. We couldn’t be prouder of them. They’re going for gold on the biggest stage!
  • But the awesomeness doesn’t stop there. India didn’t just bring home gold and silver, we also scooped up some shiny silver and bronze medals in other events. Our heroes, Abhishek Verma, Rajat Chauhan, and Mohan Bhardwaj, formed a fearsome team and bagged the silver medal in the compound men team event. They were oh-so-close to grabbing gold, missing it by just one point. So close, yet so amazing!
  • And let’s not forget our fabulous compound women’s team. Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Muskan Kirar, and Priya Gurjar rocked the stage and won the silver medal. It was a tough battle against South Korea, but our girls showed immense talent and determination.
  • To top it all off, India secured a bunch of bronze medals in the recurve event. We’re making our mark in archery, my friends!
  • Now, let’s take a moment to appreciate the 21st Asian Archery Championship. It took place in the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand, from November 22 to November 28 in 2019. Archers from all over Asia gathered to showcase their skills and compete for glory. And boy, did our Indian archers shine bright like diamonds!
  • So, let’s give a huge round of applause to our incredible archery champions. Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Abhishek Verma, Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat, and all the other medal winners, you rock! We’re super proud of your amazing achievements. Keep aiming high and hitting those bullseyes!
