• The National Institute of Ocean Technology in India is getting ready for a really deep dive into the Indian Ocean.
• They will go down 6,000 meters, which is really, really deep!
• The scientists on this mission want to learn more about the animals and plants that live in the ocean, and also about the ocean floor.
• They will use special equipment to explore the ocean floor.
• Further, they hope to find new species of animals and plants.
• As well as learn more about the ocean’s potential for things like energy and minerals.
• Exploring the ocean is really important because it helps us learn more about our planet and how we can take care of it.
• Who knows what kinds of amazing things the scientists will find on their deep dive into the Indian Ocean?
