National Dentist’s Day!

Recommended for Foundational Grades

Today we will read about oral (mouth) health. Today, 6 March is the National Dentist’s Day.

Key facts!

  • On this day, we raise awareness about the importance of regular dental checkups.
  • Along with this, we encourage people to take proper dental care.
  • Many schools, colleges, and organisations organise dental check-ups in their area.
  • We celebrate this day by thanking our dentists and appreciating their work.
  • You can also celebrate the day by doing the following activities:
    • Make a dental appointment
    • Promise to follow good dental habits
    • Raise awareness about brushing teeth twice a day
    • Smile and share your picture
    • Write a thank-you note to your dentist

Dentists ensure that we maintain good oral health with sparkling teeth and confident smiles.  Smile, please! So are you planning to visit a dentist today?
