Tiger and a Bear’s encounter – Tadoba National Park!

Recommended for Foundational Grades

In the Tadoba National Park in Maharashtra, India, a Tiger had a close encounter with a massive bear.

Tiger and a Bear’s encounter

Saket Badola, an Indian Forest Service officer, posted the 11-second video on Twitter. As shown in the original video filmed by Naman Agarwal, there’s a big cat resting in the centre of the forest walk. While they’re staring one other down, a massive black bear walks by.

In this clip, a black bear is seen walking along a route in the tiger reserve and sitting in the centre of the path. When the bear and tiger meet, the bear gets all nervous and even jumps to scare the tiger away.

This video concludes with the tiger moving an inch, but the bear moves away and does not approach it.

The video has received more than 31k views and more than 1,800 likes thus far. Many individuals expressed their opinions about the video in the comments area.

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve

India’s Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is a wildlife sanctuary located in the Chandrapur district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the oldest and largest national park in Maharashtra, as well as the state’s most visited. The reserve, which was established in 1955, comprises the Tadoba National Park as well as the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary.

This isn’t the first time at Tadoba National Park that two dangerous animals have come face to face with each other. In 2018, a tiger and a sloth bear engaged in a battle of the titans that was broadcast worldwide.

Saket Badola is kind enough to share this fascinating encounter over Twitter. Do check it out!
