Fun facts about Daffy Duck!
- Daffy Duck is an animated cartoon character produced by Warner Brothers Animation.
- It first appeared on 17 April 1937 in ‘Porky Duck Hunt’. In this cartoon, Daffy appeared as a normal duck, short and podgy with fat legs and a beak.
- But over the years he changed. In his earlier days, he was a silly, crazy duck who loved to shout, laugh loudly and dance around. But later, he changed into a more intelligent and smart duck.
- Over the years, he became more popular and starred in more than 40 films with Porky Pig.
- Daffy also starred opposite Bugs Bunny in many films where he was jealous of Bugs.
- The beloved character has made appearances in about every Looney Tunes special and comic since the 1950s.
- From his first appearance till 1989, Mel Blanc has lent his voice to the character. Later, other well-known actors, such as Joe Alasky and Jeff Bergman also voiced Daffy Duck.
