Tourist Dreams Bloom, Army Contributes!
Recommended for Preparatory Grades
Hello, friend! Today, we have a super exciting and funny story to share with you! It’s all about a place called the “Tattoo Ground” in a beautiful land called Jammu and Kashmir. Now, the Tattoo Ground used to be a place where the Army stayed, but guess what? They are moving out!
Yep, you heard that right! The Army is giving away 139 acres of this land to the Ministry of Home Affairs. And why are they doing that? Well, it’s to make the place even more special and awesome for all of you to visit! They want to turn it into a super cool spot for tourism and fun activities.
Tattoo Ground: From Army to Awesome!
- The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Manoj Sinha, is really happy about this. He says it’s a huge, big, and amazing day for tourism in J&K! He thanked the Army for being so helpful and working together. Everyone is so excited to make this place the best destination for tourists like you!
- The Army will take a little time to pack up and leave. Within 120 days, they’ll give the land to the Ministry of Home Affairs. And after that, it’s going to be all yours to explore!
- Oh, but wait, we need to know why this place is called the Tattoo Ground, right? Well, that’s because it used to be a place where the Army did something called a “Tattoo.” No, no, not the tattoos you get on your skin! It’s actually a big show with music and marching, and it’s so fun to watch!
- But here’s the tricky part, readers. The Tattoo Ground wasn’t always so happy and fun. In the past, some bad people tried to cause trouble there. They were called “militants,” and they wanted to sneak into the place. But don’t worry, our brave security personnel kept everyone safe, although it was really tough sometimes.
- But now, everything is changing for the better! With the Army moving out, this place will be full of joy and laughter. It’s like a new beginning, just like how a caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly!
- So, remember, no matter how tough things may seem, there are always good people working together to make things better. And soon, you’ll have an awesome new place to visit and create wonderful memories! So, let’s cheer for the Army, the Lieutenant Governor, and everyone involved in making this happen! Hooray!
