Book Review: ‘Legend Of Suheldev: The King Who Saved India’

‘Legend Of Suheldev: The King Who Saved India’ is an Unputdownable War Saga

Truly spellbinding! You cannot put this book down until you have finished it. “Legend of Suheldev: The King Who Saved India” is written by the Indian bestselling author, Amish Tripathi.

A prince named Suheldev, who seeks vengeance on the Turkish army, which is led by Mahmud of Ghazni, because they killed his elder brother and also offended the whole nation by wrecking the Somnath temple. And as a great devotee of Lord Shiva, he was determined to drive the Turks out of India.

Will he succeed? Or not? And that’s what the story is all about. It is based on the true story of king Suheldev, who beat the Turkish hordes.

There are many things I liked about this book. The scenes were so descriptive that you can almost see them in front of your eyes. Like in the war scenes, you could completely imagine and visualize a soldier beheading someone else. You can even picture the battle formations which are mentioned. The twists and turns in the story will leave you on a cliffhanger situation every time you close it.

I would recommend this to anyone who likes historical fiction or war sagas.
In my opinion, this book deserves a five-star rating. Thank you to the author for such a huge gift to all the bookworms.
