Barbie to launch new collection of dolls – ‘Sheroes’

You have perhaps come across Barbie – the world-famous doll in your childhood.
More than 200 different types of Barbie dolls have been created till now, such as a doctor Barbie, astronaut Barbie, robotics engineer Barbie, etc.

- This time, Barbie is coming with a completely different look and title. She can “run very fast” in this new version. That’s because she is going to be a sportswoman.
- Barbie has launched a new doll to honour the world champion British sprinter – Dina Asher-Smith.
- She is a 24-year-old gold medallist and the fastest woman in British history.
- The new doll is a part of the female sporting collection- ‘Sheroes‘.
- The collection will be released on 8 March, which marks International Women’s Day.
- The toy company aims to create awareness about female role models in the sporting world.
Barbie is hoping to inspire young girls to choose their dreams and be themselves in their lives.
