Recommended for Preparatory Grades

Devanshi Sanghvi, an eight years old nun, had the potential to become the owner of a diamond company.  Devanshi is the daughter of a prosperous Indian diamond merchant.

As a nun, she is now leading an austere lifestyle. Her lifestyle includes walking door-to-door in search of alms while wearing coarse white saris and going barefoot.

Friends of the family have mentioned that Devanshi has been “leaning towards spiritual life since she was a toddler.

Devanshi “has never watched television, movies, or go to shops and restaurants. She has been praying three times each day since a young age and even went without food when she was just two years old.
