How long can humans live?

Immortality means the ability to live forever (never die). Humans think about this a lot. We have so many stories about people living forever (like vampires).
Many people even believe that, in the future, technology could become so advanced that we won’t die.
But the fact is, the cells in our bodies have a limit. They die or stop working properly as we grow older. This is why we grow older and have health issues.
A science and technology company called Gero studied how human bodies recover from accidents and diseases. This is what helps us live longer.
They have found that this kind of “recovery power” or resilience gets lesser as we grow older. An 80-year-old person takes a lot more time to recover compared to someone who is 40.
Studying this further, they found that this resilience is completely gone when you reach somewhere between 120 years to 150 years. By then, your body cannot recover at all from accident or disease.
So how long can we live? The study says that 150 years is the oldest age that we can reach.
