Johns Hopkins titles “Natasha” as world’s smartest!

Recommended for Preparatory Grades

The Indian-American schoolgirl Natasha Perianayagam is named the “world’s brightest” student. “Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth” runs a yearly talent search initiative.

The 2021-22 school year saw 15,300 students from 76 different nations participate in the Talent Search at the centre.

Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth compiles the list. The list is based on the results of above-grade-level tests taken by over 15,000 students from more than seven five countries.

On the basis of their performance on the examination, fewer than 27 per cent of those participants are selected to attend the CTY ceremony and are awarded either high or grand honours.

The most recent attempt that Perianayagam put in earned her the highest grades of any of the other candidates.
