Super Sailor Cdr. Tomy Conquers Ocean Challenges!

Commander Tomy recently made history by becoming the first Indian to complete the Golden Globe Race. But here's the amazing part - five years ago, he came back to India on a stretcher and went home in a wheelchair because he got seriously hurt during the same race. Talk about a comeback!
This time, Commander Tomy had an amazing team supporting him. They helped him fix his boat just three weeks before the race started when everyone thought he would be disqualified. He learned that having a good team is super important.
During the race, Commander Tomy faced some tough challenges. His boat's auto-pilot broke near Cape Horn, and most people would have given up. But not our fearless sailor!
He used his creativity and fixed it with a piece of wood from the anchor. How cool is that? It was the most innovative repair he had ever done, and he didn't lose the race.
