Supreme Court Says: Put Cameras Everywhere!
Recommended for Preparatory Grades
CCTV Mandate: Safer India!
- The Supreme Court is tired of hearing about crimes happening in these places and not being able to catch the bad guys. They think that if the police stations and central agencies have cameras installed, then it will be easier to catch the people who commit crimes.
- It’s quite funny, don’t you think? The Supreme Court is basically telling the police that they need to be watched all the time. But, on a serious note, it’s a good thing that they are taking steps to make our country a safer place.
- The Supreme Court has also said that the cameras must be installed in a way that they cover all the important areas and there are no blind spots. This means that the police and central agencies cannot be lazy and just install cameras in one corner and forget about the rest. They have to make sure that everything is covered.
- Now, you might be wondering how the police and central agencies are going to pay for all of this. The Supreme Court has said that the government will provide the funds for the installation of these cameras. So, the police and central agencies don’t have to worry about spending their own money.
- All in all, it’s a good step towards making our country a safer place. Who knows, maybe we will start seeing a decrease in crime once these cameras are installed.
