When you should shine like the sun

They hold you back and say you can’t
Don’t give up, don’t say you are done

This is when you rise and show that you are not dependent
This is when you tell the true meaning of independence

What does independence mean to you?
Walking alone or walking in a queue

I know what it means to me
To do what I want and be free.
