Greetings, young artists! Today, we turn our curious eyes to a delightful painting submitted by Miss Prashikha for our “My Expressions” section. The title? My Backyard Sanctuary.

Let’s step into Prashikha’s world, shall we?

Sunlight and Shadows

Imagine a vibrant green haven, bathed in the warm glow of the afternoon sun. Sunlight spills through the leaves of a majestic mango tree, casting a dappled pattern on the soft grass below. A gentle breeze whispers through the branches, rustling the leaves and sending playful shadows dancing across the ground.

Under the Mango Tree

विशाल आम का पेड़, छायादार और मीठा, आम की मीठी खुशबू, गर्मियों में ठंडी हवा देता है। (Vishaal aam ka ped, chhaayaadaar aur mitha, Aam ki mithi khushboo, garmiyon mein thandi hawa deta hai.)

(The giant mango tree, shady and sweet, The sweet fragrance of mangoes, offers cool breeze in the summers.)

A Haven for All

In this backyard sanctuary, life thrives. A plump red butterfly with velvety wings flits between brightly colored flowers. A tiny sparrow chirps merrily, perched on a slender branch. Perhaps a family of ants marches diligently across the ground, carrying a crumb ten times their size.

Busy Little Creatures

छोटी चींटी, बड़ी सी चीज़ ले कर चलती है, अपने परिवार के लिए वह कितनी मेहनत करती है। (Choti chianti, badi si chiz lekar chalti hai, Apne parivaar ke liye woh kitni mehnat karti hai.)

(The little ant, carrying something much bigger than herself, How hard she works for her family.)

A Place to Dream

Look closer, young readers! In the corner of the backyard, a cozy swing hangs from a sturdy branch. Its ropes sway gently in the breeze, inviting one to climb aboard and lose themselves in a world of imagination.

Perhaps a book lies open on the grass nearby, waiting to be explored.

The Whispering Swing

झूला झूलता है, हवा में गाता है, अपने सपनों को आसमान में ले जाता है। (Jhoola jhoolta hai, hawa mein gaata hai, Apne sapno ko aasmaan mein le jaata hai.)

(The swing swings, sings in the breeze, Takes your dreams to the sky.)

Prashikha’s Sanctuary for the Soul

Prashikha’s painting reminds us that a sanctuary can exist anywhere, even in our own backyards. It’s a place to connect with nature, to dream, and to find peace. So, the next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a deep breath, step outside, and find your own little haven.
