Rules for Post Submission

Kuhu Kacher, a talented young artist, has sent us a delightful bookmark design that bursts with colors and love for our planet. The bookmark is a celebration of Earth Day, a day dedicated to environmental awareness and action.

A World of Blooms

The centerpiece of Kuhu’s bookmark is a beautiful illustration of the Earth. She has colored the Earth in vibrant greens and blues, perhaps representing the lush forests and sparkling oceans that grace our planet.

Around the Earth, a band of colorful flowers blooms, in pinks, purples and yellows. These flowers add a touch of whimsy and joy to Kuhu’s design and serve as a reminder of the Earth’s abundant natural beauty.

Happy Earth Day

The words “Happy Earth Day” are written in bold letters at the top of the bookmark. This message is a clear call to action, reminding us to cherish our planet and do our part to protect it.

Kuhu’s Artistic Journey

Kuhu has titled her work “My Earth Drawing and Quilling,” hinting at a technique she may have used to create this artwork.

Quilling is an art form that involves rolling thin strips of paper into coils and then arranging them to create decorative designs.

It’s possible that Kuhu used quilling to create the colorful flowers on her bookmark, but without a closer look, it’s difficult to say for sure.
