Student News Reporter Program on Curious Times

Do you like to read, view or follow news? Do you desire to write news? Curious Times is a place where young children can express their opinions and report anything inspiring that is happening around your vicinity, your locality, you state, nation or globally.

Student news reporting

Student news reporting has been a program very close to Curious Times. We want you to break the myth about news being boring or just social media savvy. You can pick up your phone, laptop or a mic to share some news, which you think should get reported at national and global level too. You can also put inspiring stories around climate action, kids’ achievements, opportunities and skilling to encourage your fellow students on Curious Times.

How to become a News Reporter on Curious Times?

If you are a news enthusiast, you write well, you have the critical thinking, communication skills, you get an opportunity to apply for Student News Reporter Program. You can write to us on hello@curioustimes.in. Do not forget to send the following details:

  1. Your Brief Bio – Name, Grade, School, City, State, Country
  2. Your participation and achievements, if you have participated at any other level including school competitions and activities.
  3. Send snapshot of your published work or in case of local participation – videos, essay etc.
  4. In case you have participated on Curious Times, please send links of your earlier participation.

Once we receive the documents, we will get in touch with you to take it forward.

How can schools participate?

Curious Times is an initiative that serves over 500 schools. Schools can register and send their interest to participate in the program.
School News is one of the most popular features of Curious Times. Schools can depute their best writers, journalists and coordinators to report School News. It gives the students an opportunity to get noticed and published and also help the school reach millions of readers of Curious Times.
Schools can bring opportunities for their students to get published and build their digital footprint, which is much needed in today’s times, as students approach higher classes and university admissions.

Curious Times is a leading newspaper and website for kids. We publish daily global news aligned to your learning levels (also as per NEP 2020): Foundational, Preparatory (Primary), Middle and Senior. Check out the News tab for this. It is a good way to share your talent and skills with your friends, family, school, teachers and the world. As you will step into higher educational institutes your published content will showcase your strength. Events, Quizzes and Competitions bring students from over 5,000 schools globally to participate in the 21st-Century themes. Schools and students win certificates, prizes and recognition through these global events. Internships programs are open for students who want to contribute and learn as designers, bloggers, vloggers, news reporters, event coordinators, growth leaders. Many students have benefitted from our programs.
