International day of the girl child is an international observance day declared by the United nations .
The objectives behind celebrating the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF GIRL CHILD is to provide opportunities to the girls .
It comes on 11 October, the purpose of this day is for the increase awareness of inequality faced by girls worldwide based upon their gender.
