Teachers day is celebrated on 5th September every year. This day is celebrated all across India. There is a special reason behind the celebration of teacher’s day on 5th September, in fact, 5th September is the birthday of our former president Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was a professor and had taught at various institutions. After he became a president, many students wanted to celebrate his birthday on September 5, so he asked students to celebrate teacher’s day on 5th September. Teachers are like our second mother. Teachers spend so much time making us smart and genius. Teachers’ day is celebrated to thank them.
On teacher’s day students act as their favorite teachers. Teachers scold us when we are wrong and admire our talents. Teachers guide us to the right path. We all should thank our teachers for all the knowledge they gave us.
